a new direction?

my role is changing somewhat. a few things i’ve been working on public speaking particularly on camera. i was hoping to take a few workshops to learn the art of speaking in sound bites but they dont have any classes yet. this past thursday was nerve wrecking but my boss threw me in front of the cameras and i think i did okay. afterwards he was like, "good job. just a pointer, don't wear your badge!"

i was sort of hoping they would cut me out of their 5 o'clock live but as i was driving home my gf sent me a picture of my face on her HUGE TV. the following text said, "you're wearing my earrings!" she makes the bestest earrings i'm always getting compliments.

I thought I’d entertain you today since I have A LOT of work to do and I’m avoiding it.

If you didn't know already, in the past couple of years I've taken a more Zen approach to my life. This started with a pretty vigorous yoga regime and now it’s less about the body and more about the mind. I’ve been meditating upwards of an hour everyday for the past year and half. It has changed my life in so many ways. Next month I will start teaching an Introduction to Meditation class in Torrance, CA. If you or someone in Los Angeles wants to learn how to meditate post a message here.

On another note, as some of you know I’ve been struggling with my neighbor and while I was away in Las Vegas on business there was another complaint issued about “loud sex” coming from my apartment. The manager and my neighbor came over to talk to me. Obviously the complaint wasn’t about me because it seems this only occurs when I’m not home. Haha! I was really at my ends and had a few harsh words with my sister.

A few Saturdays ago as I was coming up the stairs to my apartment my neighbor jumps out of his apartment. He was talking so fast I didn’t know what he was saying… but basically it was, “I’m so sorry I know I’ve been complaining a lot about you but I really, really need your help.” *ding*!

As it turns out the hostess girls for his Uncle’s anniversary party got in a car accident and he needed replacements fast. I graciously I sent my sister and her girlfriend over and now they’re all buddy, buddy…

being expansive

sometimes we are forced to take actions that results in hurting the people we love and for right now it may seem cruel and incomprehensible but i hope in time they will understand it was necessary for their growth

I graduated my first class of girls from CJC's seven week social etiquette program. There is nothing better in this world than seeing a young girl girl blossom into a self confident person. It's been a painstaking process documenting the program but I'm looking forward to opening the program in more schools in the fall!

i saw this posting on demi moore's twitter. awesome!

my plan to seduce the neighbors with food has taken an interesting turn. i believe my downstairs neighbor is gay and is always semi-running away from me. me thinks he thinks i'm into him. i swear i'm just trying to make conversation. im not trying to convert you. hehe
